Maritime CPST Recertification Course (Online & In-Person)
This is an online/in-person hybrid re-certification course only for people who have already been trained as Child Passenger Safety Technicians. The required in-person clinic component is being offered at locations in NB, NS & PEI.
Your previously held CPST certification must not have expired more than 1 year from the course date to be eligible for this recertification.
There will be multiple online sessions available.
Participants must join one hour-long online session on either September 20th or 23rd and a second 3 hour required online session on Thursday September 25th.
CPST hybrid recertification course:
Two online sessions: September 23rd & 25th 2025, required attendance at an in-person event on various dates below
Time commitment: Approx 4 hours self-directed online modules, two live online group sessions (1 & 3 hours), approx 3 hours in-person clinic participation
Location: Most of the course will be online with the exception of attendance at one of the car seat clinics below
Required in-person clinic options: Riverview NB (Sept 27th), Woodstock NB (Sept 27th), Truro NS (Oct 5th), Membertou NS (Oct 10th), Digby NS (Oct 17th) & Charlottetown PEI (Oct 19th), a Halifax NS option may be added if there is enough interest.
