The Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) training course is offered through the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada (CPSAC). This course is well-suited for anyone who works with, transports, or cares for children, including (but not limited to) people in the following fields: 

Healthcare
Family and birth support professionals 
Injury prevention and health promotion 
First responders
Family resource centres, social services agencies
Childcare 
Retail
Parents, caregivers, and safety advocates.

Successful completion of the course requires 100% attendance for both the classroom and clinic portions, with skills assessment by the instructor(s) throughout the course. Successful candidates will receive a professional certificate that is valid for 3 years.

Course dates and times:
100% attendance is required for successful completion of this course. Regular short breaks will be offered throughout, and there will be at least half an hour for lunch.

The dates and start and end times are as follows:

Friday, May 30, 8am-5pm

Saturday, May 31, 8am-5pm

Sunday, June 1, 8am-5pm

Saturday, June 7, 9am – 1pm

Course fee: $225, a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required by April 30th, 2025.
