DESCRIPTION:The Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) training course takes place over 4 days and includes classroom instruction\, hands-on practice\, assessments\, and a practical exam in the form of a public car seat check clinic. \nDates and Times: \nThursday\, September 24\, 1pm-5pm\nFriday\, September 25\, 8am-5pm\nSaturday\, September 26\, 8am-5pm\nSunday\, September 27\, 8am-5pm\n*Certification Clinic is 1-5pm on Sunday \nWith this training you can:\n– Answer car seat questions for a parenting class or parent-child group\n– Meet with caregivers one-on-one to help\n– Provide a workshop for your staff or colleagues\n– Facilitate a booster seat intervention in your local schools \nThe cost for this training initiative for each participant will be $225\nCertification with the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada for 3 years\, a printed copy of the manual and all supplies are included. \nEmail Natalie.leslie@hotmail.ca to register or call 506-872-1213.
