SUMMARY:CPST Training – Calgary AB
DESCRIPTION:This program certifies participants as Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPSTs) through the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada (CPSAC). Participants will learn about the mechanics of a collision\, Canadian legislation governing child restraints\, and the different stages and types of child restraint systems and how they function. \nThe course includes hands-on practice to build confidence with a variety of installation methods\, as well as training on how to effectively support parents and caregivers in selecting and using car seats and booster seats correctly. \nSuccessful candidates will receive a CPST certificate valid for three years\, membership with CPSAC\, volunteer liability insurance\, access to regional and national networking and peer support\, and ongoing updates as technology\, standards\, and best practices evolve. \nDate: August 21-23\, 2026\nTimes: 8:30-6:00pm\nLocation: 14505 Bannister Road SE\nCost: $350\nFor more information and to register: CPST Training – Calgary
